Kathryn Slater is a young, self-taught photographer who has lived most of her life in the South Gippsland region. After travelling through America, England, Europe and Australia and living in the north west of Western Australia for several years, Kathryn developed a keen eye and interest in photographing many of the splendid vistas throughout the Kimberley region, an interest which she is now turning her attention to photographing the many aspects of the South Gippsland area from the rugged coastline with its beautiful beaches to the rolling farmland hills.
Kathryn’s signed, limited print photographs are able to capture the unique and unusual views we take for granted in such a picturesque place as South Gippsland.
